The BFP team looked to develop an influencer activation campaign to both inspire voters to care about Biden, educate and reassure them that there were safe methods to ensure their vote counted, and that their voice mattered in this election.

The Brief
100 days out from the election, the Biden for President (BFP) campaign faced two key threats to voter turnout:
1) A fear of voting in person during a global pandemic coupled with a lack of trust & awareness in alternate voting methods.
2) A lack of understanding of Biden’s position on the issues leading to a lack of motivation to vote.
Social Activations
To maximize campaign impact and foster audience interaction, we developed a robust suite of social media assets. This included an Instagram filter to enhance brand visibility and user-generated content, Giphy stickers to increase shareability and organic reach, a voting survey to gather audience insights and drive participation, and custom influencer posts to leverage their authentic voices.
By strategically deploying these assets across social platforms, we aimed to increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and ultimately, encourage voting action. Social media served as a catalyst for conversation, allowing us to connect with our target audience in a meaningful and interactive way.

Curated kits sent to VIP Influencers that included everything they needed to safely vote at the polls and encourage their followers to vote for Biden in the 2020 election.
